The Kishwaukee Canoe Story

I am Bruce, I started out working the the canoe rental business in Elgin, IL.  When I was a kid.  Now I’m 37 and my business partner Troy and I, who has been helping The Canoe Shack (Saint Charles), for many years, are launching our own… canoe business!

My Dad, Wesley Schmidt started Schmidt’s Canoeing Service over 30 Yrs ago.  He did trips to Canada (the Boundary Waters), The Ozarks, and the Dells, etc, while he devoleped his trip from Algonquin to Elgin, an Admirable Legacy…
